Don't have time to go into the whole big sermon tonight, but had an interesting conversation in my US History class today. Here's a fun little excerpt to get your attention.
One of the girls in my class was explaining why she really liked America and wanted to move there some day, and one of the things she mentioned was the abundance of American flags. The general attitude of the British was, "We know we're in England, so why do we need a flag?" They said the only time you really see people with flags is during World Cup time. "You mean you don't even have flags at schools?" I asked.
"No, of course not, why would we?" was the general answer.
Interesting. I'll try to write more later (no guarantees).
